The Luce Line State Trail is a 63 mile long former railroad grade which is developed for biking, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, snowmobiling, and skiing. The limestone surfaced trail runs from Plymouth 30 miles west to Winsted, with a parallel treadway for horseback riding. From Winsted to Hutchinson, the trail is paved, from Hutchinson to Cedar Mills it is crushed granite and Cedar Mills to Cosmos it is Natural (mowed grass). Past Watertown, the scenery becomes more rural, with farm fields and pastures. Rest stop at Willow Dr.

Looking for an experience, not a drink? Our brewery/taproom provides a constantly rotating lineup with beers changing weekly (typically between 9 - 11 beers on tap)! The craft beer enthusiast is driven to experience new brews, and that is exactly what you will get at LTD. We will always strive to have at least four main genres available:
1. Something more on the bitter side (ex. IPA, EPA)
2. Porter or Stout (ex. Irish Dry Stout, Chocolate porter)
3. A brew with a little more malt and less bitterness (ex. Amber, Red, Brown, Nut Brown)
Located in Carver Park Reserve which includes the 19th century Grimm farm house, 4 large lakes, camping, boating, 30 miles hiking trails, self guided trail brochures, 9 miles biking, 10 miles cross-country skiing, snow shoeing and horseback riding trails. Established in 1853 by the U.S. government as the administrative center of the newly created Dakota reservation and the site of the first organized attack in the U.S.-Dakota War of 1862. A history center exhibit explores the Dakota story before, during and after the War. Self-guided trails take visitors to the restored 1861 stone warehouse and the Redwood Ferry crossing. This Minnesota Historical Society historic site is managed by the Lower Sioux Indian Community.

With 290 feet of frontage, you'll have quite a bit of lakeshore all to yourselves. We've left 40 feet of woods undisturbed on each side to provide privacy.
