Loon Lodge Vacation Cabins

The Loon Lodges are a collection of vacation homes on Leech Lake in Walker and Lake Superior in Lutsen. All homes have direct frontage on Leech Lake, with a dock and boat life, or Lake Superior. One home on Leech Lake and our home in Lutsen are dog friendly. We can accommodate groups of 2 - 14.

Loon Lodge on Leech Lake and Northern Waters Lodge are luxury single-family homes located on Traders and Millers Bay. They are both within 15 minutes to downtown Walker, MN.

Loon Lake Lodge

Original log cabins built in the 1920's with kitchens and bathrooms. Pet friendly and Restaurant on-site. Cabin size ranges from one to three bedrooms and is the only resort on the quiet lake. Canoes, Kayaks, and Paddleboards free for guests. Great location for nearby hiking trails. Come fish, play, or relax at this beautiful resort!

Loon Lake Golf Course

Loon Lake Golf is a 9-hole course situated on the north shore of Loon Lake. Our course is well suited for the beginner to the intermediate golfer. We pride ourselves in being a family-owned course that focuses on the fun of the game...not what your handicap is. No reservations or tee times are required; all we ask is that on league nights or if there is an event listed on the calendar to please call ahead to check with us first.

Lookout Mountain Trail

Fifteen miles of skiing and hiking trails. Mostly intermediate level trails. Located from Virginia 4 mi N on US Hwy 53 to Laurentian Divide Rec area. Trail runs along billion-year-old ridge dividing Arctic Ocean and Atlantic Ocean watersheds in Superior National Forest. Shelter along trail. Maple hardwood forest on crest of divide. Maps along trail.

Lookout Bar & Grill

The Lookout Bar & Grill is a family owned restaurant in Maple Grove offering award-winning food, live music, karaoke, banquets and private parties, on and off-site catering, and the city's biggest and best outdoor patio equipped with volleyball, fire pit, a children's play area and more! Longyear Drill Site/City of Hoyt Lakes

Designated historic site, by the City of Hoyt Lakes; restoration of drill site at end of a .25 mile nature trail; first diamond drill hole sunk in the search for iron ore in 1890. Outdoor recreation is a way of life in Hoyt Lakes,with every season bringing its own special activities. In winter, you can enjoy cross-country skiing, ice fishing, ice hockey, and snowmobiling.

Longville Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce

Longville is blessed with many natural gifts — sparkling lakes, golden sand beaches, pristine forests, and abundant wildlife. The Chamber of Commerce offers an extensive schedule of activities for all ages, all year long. These include our world-renowned summer turtle races, our famous daylong Fourth of July celebration, a pancake breakfast at the Longville airport, and a very hometown Christmas tree lighting, complete with free hot chocolate and horse-drawn wagon rides.
