A US Forest Service campground located approximately 6 miles west of the town of Remer on State Hwy. 200. Mabel Lake is a more primitive setting with a hand pump for water and vault toilets. Beautiful sites especially along the lake. A picnic area, beach and boat landing are attached to this campground by a short hiking trail.

The First Stage is the first step in renovation of the Historic Lyric Opera House, a vital part of the downtown district of Virginia, Minnesota since 1912. The Main Street Stage (formerly the Anoka Cinema Building) was fully renovated in 2001 and features free parking, a warm and welcoming environment, and a cozy 227-seat bowl-style theater with comfortable stadium seating—there isn’t a bad seat in the house!
