Multicultural Fiesta

The St. James Multicultural Fiesta is co-sponsored by Uniting Cultures and Convivencia Hispana.  This event features food vendors from various nationalities. Entertainment drawn from countries which have ethnic backgrounds in the area including the indigenous people.  There are also vendors which provide resources as an outreach for all members of the community. 

Maple Syrup Day - March 20, 2022

Join us at Osprey Wilds for a hands-on maple syrup tour and to-go pancake meal! All ages welcome. Learn about the process of making maple syrup and enjoy our award-winning syrup with your pancakes!

Tours last around an hour. Last meals served at 2:30 PM. Registration is required by March 17.

Explore Olmsted County's rich history and vibrant stories during this presentation highlighting Southeastern Minnesota. Discover how the county was established, how it has impacted national and global events, and how its county seat, Rochester, grew into a dynamic combination of technology and medicine.  
This class is being offered using the Zoom online platform.
This program is offered through the Saint Paul Public Schools Community Education. 

Fire and Ice Event

Grab your partner or grab your family and head down to Hamlet Park in your winter best! Parks and Recreation staff will be transforming the Hamlet Park skating rink into a dreamy lighted landscape with music and a cozy fire that the you’ll be able to skate up to. This free event is perfect for a mid-winter pick-me-up for skaters (and Instagrammers) of all levels! The warming house and restrooms will be available for those that need to lace up their skates and take a break! See you there!

Love story meets horror movie in this charming tongue-in-cheek comedy of infatuation, longing, and carnage.

Timid floral assistant Seymour Krelborn discovers a new breed of plant that he names after his coworker, Audrey. The bloodthirsty, R&B-singing carnivore, “Audrey II” promises to give Seymour everything he has ever wanted as long as Seymour fulfills its need for blood.

An Evening of Christmas Carols

Join us for an evening of singing traditional Christmas carols, led by Dan & Sandy Adler and a group of local singers. This is a participative night, so feel free to sing along!

Advanced tickets are $15. Tickets at the door are $20. Additionally, a free-will offering will also be received to help support the ongoing ministry of Heart of the City Ministries.

Seating is general admission and doors open at 7:30 PM.
