Nisswa Motel

Located in the heart of the lakes north of Brainerd, Nisswa includes 12 lakes within its city limits. The Nisswa Motel is just one block from the shopping and restaurants of downtown Nisswa, one of the top destinations in the Brainerd Lakes Area. The Paul Bunyan bicycle and snowmobile trail is just a block away, and you don't have to cross a highway to access it. Winding through forested areas and around lakes, the hard-surface trail runs 16 miles south to Brainerd and 57 miles to the north.

Nisswa American Legion

Nisswa American Legion, the "Get-together Place", is open to the public serving lunch Monday-Saturday 11:30-2:30pm. Play Bingo Wednesdays and Sundays, Meat Raffle on Fridays, and pull tabs every day. Enjoy Burger on Mondays, Coney dogs on Tuesdays, Wings on Thursdays and Friday night Dinners.

Nightingale

Owned and operated by husband and wife team, Jasha Johnston and Carrie McCabe-Johnston, we offer a menu of bruschettas, small plates and more. Entire menu will be served from 4pm-2am and opening at 10am for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

Nies Cabins & Campsites

We are a small fishing resort,with clean, cozy cabins on prime lake shore. We also have campsites on a lake shore location separate from cabins with a swimming beach and boat docks. Excellent fishing in a clean and clear lake. Resort is close to Brainerd, Bemdji, Walker, the Northern Lights Casino and The Deep Portage Conservation Area. We are right off the Paul Bunyan Trail for biking/hiking. Lots of Antique stores in the area. No Pets Please.

Nicollet County Historical Society
