North Country Cottages

Located between Lutsen and Grand Marais on the North Shore of Lake Superior. Kah-Nee-Tah's three cottages offer you privacy while they are nestled perfectly in the Northwoods. Open year round, our cottages are pet friendly and have easy access to the Superior Hiking Trail & cross country skiing. We are only six miles from Lutsen Mountain and Superior National Golf Course, about 2 miles from Cascade River State Park and only about 15 minutes to Grand Marais which is home to lots of great restaurants, Voyager Brewing Company and many great shops.

Kado No Mise

Kado no Mise serves Japanese fare that is simple and delicate - true to the tastes and form that Chef Furukawa learned when he first started cooking professionally in his hometown of Tokyo, Japan. Every meal, including our nigiri, sashimi, and maki, is carefully hand-crafted from a select choice of fresh, local and Japanese ingredients in the true Edomae style. No derivatives. No extrapolation. Kado no Mise, which translates to “Corner Restaurant."

Kabetogama Angling Adventures

Fishing launch service. Fishing on lakes Kabetogama, Namakan, & east end of Rainy Lake in Voyageurs National Park. Boat tours of Voyageurs National Park along with water taxi service to hiking trail heads and campsites is also available.

Kab-Ash Hiking and Ski Trail

Trail is approx 25 miles long and runs from the Ash River resort area east to the Lake Kabetogama resort area. There are 4 access points with car-parking areas. Terrain is varied with some lowland, marshy area giving way to midland forests and high, rocky ledges with panoramic overlooks. No pets, camping fires, firearms, fireworks or motor vehicles allowed on the trail.

K & K Tubing Inc

Tubing on the Ottertail River. Fun for the whole family. Take a 2 hour tube ride down the Ottertail River. The 2nd ride is free in the same day. We have vinyl tubes and kid tubes with closed bottoms. We also have cloth tubes for dogs! Please park by the Big Yellow Building.

No glass containers or styrofoam coolers allowed on the river.
