Gilles Family Dairy and Woodland

Primitive campground located in SE MN, close to I90.
Over 100 acres of woodland with several miles of mowed trails. Walk in / drive in campground with small wooden (tent size) cabin, picnic table, fire pit, out-house, firewood provided. Room for two or three tents at cabin site. We can help transport gear and thermos water to site. Secluded, quiet site excellent for birders, hikers, X-country skiers.

Gilfillan Estate Campground

At Gilfillan camping grounds there are camper electric hookups, water, public bathrooms and even a nice wooded area with picnic tables.

We offer 25 campsites with electric and water hook-ups. Hot showers and restrooms available in a shaded area. There is a nice wooded area with picnic tables, a Pavilion and flower gardens.

Gilfillan Estate

The estate of the wealthy Gilfillan family, this farm site was donated to the Redwood County Historical Society and includes large farm antiques and small farm and home antiques. The Gilfillan home, completely furnished with beautiful antiques and farm house available for tours. Camping with water hookup, showers, or both.

Gilbert Olson Campground

Located on the south branch of the Two Rivers, 48 campsites, with electrical hookups, showers, flush toilets, and dump station. Snowmobiling, snowshoeing, canoeing, fishing, heated swimming pool, playground, basketball courts. The park is adjacent to Hallock's nine-hole grass greens golf course and also to the south branch of the Two Rivers for fishing and canoeing.

Gigi's Cafe

Gigi’s is the south Minneapolis neighborhood home away from home for many locals. You’re welcome to hang out and have coffee & a scone, or to come in for dinner and a bottle of wine. We serve breakfast daily till 3pm and you can enjoy our happy hours 3pm-6pm every day of the week. Feel free to have a work meeting, the wireless is always on! At Gigi’s we make everything from scratch using as many locally farmed and organic ingredients as possible. Gigi’s buys only sustainably farmed meats and follows the Monterey Bay Seafood Watch guidelines for sourcing seafood.

Giesenbrau Bier Co. (pronounced "GHEE-sen-broy") is a family owned and operated brewery whose goal is to serve the local community with fresh, locally crafted lagers and ales with an emphasis on German and Czech tradition.

Why Giesenbrau?
We wanted our name to reflect our roots. Giesen is the family name of one of our founders. Our Giesen ancestors arrived in the United States from the town of Waxweiler, Germany in the 1860s. “Bräu” is the German word for "brew."

Gibbs Farm: Pathways to Dakota & Pioneer Life

Costumed guides tell the story of the Gibbs family and early 1800s Dakota history because of the family's unique relationship with them. Site contains Dakota tipi, a replica bark lodge, and a wild rice camp. Site also has the Gibbs family historic farmhouse, barns, and a replica of their first sod house. A one-room schoolhouse, farm animals, a heritage apple orchard, historic gardens, and a restored prairie grace the site. Open Saturdays from Memorial Day through the end of October. Available for weddings and private parties.

Gibbins Fishing - Activities

Ice fishing: Sleeper Fish House Rental
Houses are 12 ft x 18 ft and will fish and sleep up to 6 people.
Bombardier transportation provided to and from fish house.
Also included: minnows, jig sticks for folks who do not have their own.
Small propane stoves with ovens, coffee pots, pans, flatware, dishes along with dish soap.
Water is provided in 5 gal containers as needed.
Every house is also equipped with a propane wall heater, lights, and bathroom facilities.
