Located on picturesque Whaletail Lake in Minnetrista, Gale Woods is a 410-acre park that features a working educational farm. The farm provides opportunities for visitors of all ages to enjoy experiences that enhance their understanding of agriculture, food production and land stewardship.

Located in Nemadji State Forest, managed by Moose Lake State Park. The eight campsites are considered "primitive," designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and picnic table. Vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available. Garfvert Campground and Day Use area also includes water access, fishing, boat landing/dock, 1 picnic site, nature trails (3 mi) and is adjacent to Pickerel Lake and the Willard Munger ATV Trail.

We're all about beer, and we know very little about anything else, so you won't find anything extra here: the only alcoholic beverage we serve (by law, in fact) is the beer we brew on premises. The Full Moon is an old schoolhouse built in the early 1900’s. Today, the Full Moon Bar & Restaurant is serving American cuisine daily opening the doors at 11am and offer food specials and daily beer and drink specials.

Camping available in some form or another year round. 13 miles of hiking trails and 7.1 miles cross-country ski. Sliding hill available in winter. Some facilities are handicapped accessible.
