Hartley Nature Center

Hartley Nature Center is a non-profit environmental education facility operating out of Hartley Park, a large city park in the middle of Duluth. It features miles of trails, including a section of the Superior Hiking Trail, which can take you to stunning overlooks, into quiet forests, to rushing streams or placid ponds. We offer programs for all ages, and rent skis and snowshoes in the winter months. Our beautiful "Green" building is open Mon-Sat year-round and Sunday also January through March.

Gary's Supper Club

At Harry's Cafe, we take great pride in serving the freshest, highest-quality food possible. Each and every day we make our soups, salads, dressings, sauces, ice cream and desserts from scratch. Our produce and dairy are delivered fresh throughout the week. Our meats are delivered daily from a local butcher, as is our bread from a local bakery.

Harriet Brewing Tour

We focus on brewing traditional European styles, particularly Belgian ales and German lagers. We believe that intention is the most important component in creating beers. Intention is what separates a good beer from an excellent beer. Each of our beers serves as an outlet of complete creative expression and each recipe is the manifestation of our research of the classics and our artistic interpretation of those styles.

Harriet Alexander Nature Center

The Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC) is an oasis nestled within the borders of Roseville’s Central Park.

On the grounds there is a boardwalk and trails that circulate through 52 acres of marsh, prairie and forest habitats. Come explore the marsh on the new boardwalk sections which are linked to the older sections, making for a nice long double loop. During your visit to HANC you might find migrating songbirds, towering prairie grasses, rows of painted turtles, or cottontail rabbits.

Harkin Store

Savor the smells and sights of an 1870s general store as you sample the wares or try a game of checkers. When the railroad bypassed the small town of West Newton, the Harkin Store was forced to close with much of the unsold inventory still on the shelves, where it remains today. This Minnesota Historical Society historic site is managed by the Nicollet County Historical Society.
