Heart of the City Music Factory

The Heart of the City Music Factory is a beautiful Victorian-style concert venue and event center located on the second floor of the Old Milk Factory on the Rum River in historic Anoka. Being in the Music Factory is like gathering in a large Victorian home with vintage wallpaper, a fireplace on stage, balcony with a great view, gorgeous décor and an intimate seating capacity of 130. The Factory features a regular concert series of diverse artists – both local and national – going from Classical to Jazz to Reggae, Gospel, Rock, Singer/Songwriter and many others.

Heart Beach Resort

We are located on the northern tip of Dead Lake on Highway 35.The cabins are very roomy and are furnished with clean bedding, dishes, silverware, pots/pans, toaster, refrigerators, gas stove w/ oven, tables/chairs, microwaves and modern bathrooms.. They have everything you need, except paper items, towels, soap and food. You can bring your own food or Dent is a town about 4 miles north of us that has a store, laundry, restaurant, bank, and bait shop.

Headwaters Science Center

HSC is open from 9:30-5:00 Monday through Saturday and 1-5 Sunday. Closed on Tuesday Labor Day through March. The 7,500 sq. ft. exhibit floor features over 40 hands-on, interactive exhibits, including live animals, hot air balloon, tractor, and pitching cage, and a unique science and nature-oriented gift shop. In addition to weekly activities such as Tots-N-Science, Science Club and birthday parties for children, youth and families, a wide variety of demonstrations and outreach programs can be arranged including StarLab, a portable planetarium and live raptors.

Headwaters Country Club

Semi-private course (par 72) 18 holes. Championship golf course carved out of thousands of mature pine trees and hardwoods. Sandwiches and snacks. Full bar. Driving range and putting greens.

Head of The Lakes Resort

Hayes Lake State Park

The central focus of the park is the lake and the north fork of the Roseau River. Here there is an abrupt transition from farmland to wilderness. This secluded park gives visitors a chance to see a variety of Minnesota wildlife. Loons, moose and beaver can often be seen; fisher, otter, lynx, black bear and wolves also live in the area. 13 mi hiking trails, and 6 mi snowmobile.
