Located in George Washington State Forest, managed by Scenic State Park. The 13 campsites are considered "primitive," designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and picnic table. Vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available. This campground features nature trails and panfish and bass fishing.

Burr Vineyards is a small, boutique, family winery located in the Lakes Region of Central Minnesota. We specialize in hand-crafted wines derived from the cold-hardy grapes grown right adjacent to the winery property. The Ledermann family purchased the 95-acre farm in western Douglas County near Alexandria in 1999 and eventually planted over 2 acres of prime wine grape varieties developed at the University of Minnesota and by the famous grape breeder, Elmer Swenson.
