The Wild Hare - Stillwater

We are kids of the 90’s, plain and simple. Founders Dar and Sarah are no strangers to the restaurant world, with over 25 years experience, the couple took the plunge almost a decade ago with The Velveteen, a 1920’s style speakeasy accessed underground in historic downtown Stillwater. Before that they founded Studio One Yoga, a hot yoga studio with three metro locations. Anybody sense a fusion coming on? These prior concepts along with You and Me Cafe in Stillwater, led to a new restaurant focusing on the future of health and sustainability that took off.

Studio One Yoga (S1) is a down to earth yoga studio. You do not have to be a "yogi" (or even know what that word means) to practice at our studio. We welcome anyone who is ready to relax, work hard, laugh or let go. We believe that yoga is for everyone regardless of age and body type. Whether you can touch your toes or not, Studio One Yoga opens our doors and our hearts to helping you challenge your physical body and mind.

Shaun LaBelle’s producing career has been filled with legendary groups. For example, David Pack (Ambrosia), Everette Harp, Jeff Kashiwa, and Steve Reid (Rippingtons.) Also, Shaun has worked with Branford Marsalis and the group Pieces of a Dream. Shaun performed bass on the Larger Than Life tour for Grammy award-winning recording artist Jody Watley. Currently, Shaun’s new releases Your Love Kept Calling my Name and Mon Cher Amour have charted on Billboard.

Parlor Doughnuts

For centuries, the “parlor” was the special room in the house where people came together to talk and exceptional things happened. It was usually the best-furnished room in the home where families could comfortably receive their guests.
While the origin of the doughnut can be traced back to the early 1800’s, their popularity grew during WW I when volunteers (known as Doughnut Lassies) prepared doughnuts and coffee for soldiers at the front lines. The doughnuts provided comfort, a brief reprise from battle, and reminded them of home.
