Radio Nation Presents: A Tribute to 90's Alternative Rock

Radio Nation’s tribute to 90’s Alternative Rock will take you on a Nostalgic trip back to the mid-90’s to relieve and re-experience all your favorite songs! Whether you were in College, Grade School, or just loved the music of the 90’s this show will bring back some great memories. The Goo Goo Dolls, Weezer, The Wallflowers, Smashing Pumpkins, Matchbox 20, Foo Fighters, No Doubt, Cranberries, Alanis Morrisette, and many more bands are featured in this fantastic show. Dig out the flannel and ripped jeans and sing along all night to these classics!

Queering Indigeneity

Celebrating the vision and diversity of 2-Spirit, Native queer, gender-expansive artists in the Upper Midwest, Queering Indigeneity offers a pathway for 2-Spirit cultural reclamation. The M’s multi-year partnership with Penny Kagigebi emphasizes intergenerational transfer of knowledge and mentoring. Community-guided collaboration paved the way for Queering Indigeneity, which responds to Kagigebi’s radical commitment to Indigenous practices that affirm 2-Spirit artists and the gifts they carry. 

Quadriga Starlight Tours

Take a guided tour of the restored State Capitol building and meet historical characters from the Capitol's history, then climb to the rooftop for a rare evening viewing of the gold-gilded Quadriga -the golden horses- against a backdrop of the lighted skylines of the Twin Cities.

Polka Palooza!

Get ready for a weekend full of energy, excitement, and community fun from July 25–27! And new this year, the streets will be alive with the sounds of Polka Palooza—a two-day celebration of live music, dancing, and heritage in the heart of downtown. Enjoy polka bands on Friday from 4–11 PM and Saturday from 1–11 PM, plus free beginner dance lessons Saturday at noon.
