Greater Mankato may be Minnesota’s not-so-hidden gem! Visit Mankato and our surrounding communities each fall for the KBFF! Expect the best routes and fun to be found in the serenity of a Southern MN! The Kato Bike Fall Fest is a weekend-long celebration presented by the Greater Mankato Bike Walk Advocates and BikeMN which showcases the depth of the amazing bike culture of the Greater Mankato area. Routes: 12.4 Mile (paved), 37.2 Mile (paved), 11.4 Mile (gravel), and 38.7 Mile (gravel).

Joshua Redman Quartet

Joshua Redman is one of the most acclaimed and charismatic jazz artists working today. Joshua was born in Berkeley, California, and he is the son of legendary saxophonist Dewey Redman and dancer Renee Shedroff. He was exposed at an early age to a variety of music (jazz, classical, rock, soul, Indian, Indonesian, Middle-Eastern, African). Also, a wide range of instruments (recorder, piano, guitar, gatham, gamelan).

John Scofield's Combo 73

Aside from being one of the principal innovators of modern jazz guitar, John Scofield is a rare creative artist. He is a stylistic chameleon who has forged a consistent, rock-solid aesthetic identity. Looking to commemorate his seventy-third year, Scofield has penned a collection of new compositions. Also, he reformed his swinging group, formerly Combo 66, to tour the music.

Joe Pulice Salutes Buddy Rich is a high voltage, all-star fifteen-piece big band from the Twin Cities.

This performance will highlight the music that Buddy Rich made famous throughout his illustrious career. There, he established himself as the best big band drummer in the world. Drummer Joe Pulice, one of the region’s elite musicians, is a two-time Minnesota Jazz Music Award recipient. Also, in 1986, Joe toured with Woody Herman and his Thundering Herd.
