Our 1860s vintage baseball team will kick off the home season with the first game at 10:00 am. Molly Beth Griffin will be visiting Historic Forestville to read from her MNHS Press published book of poetry, Rings of Heartwood: Poems on Growing. The event is free to the public and will take place outside at the site on a nice day, or the large barn at Historic Forestville in the rain.

Charmington High School is the alma mater of every famous royal for generations and the halls are buzzing with excitement for the upcoming Crystal Ball. Lilith Raena, the meanest girl in school, has sabotaged poor Snow White who is at risk of failing all of her classes and being excluded from the festivities. She must turn to the seven smartest kids in school to get her out of her predicament. This hilarious tale of adolescent angst, unexpected friendships, and poetic justice will have you rolling with laughter and rooting for the little guy.

For almost four decades, the Grammy-winning Rebirth Brass Band has been “stunning” fans. Further, they are loved worldwide for their fiery live shows and rich musical catalog. Their trademark sound pays homage to the New Orleans brass band tradition. Also, they weave a tapestry that combines elements of jazz, funk, soul, R&B. Then, they incorporate more of the sounds from the streets they grew up on.
See amazing teams of draft horses in action performing feats of strength as they demonstrate historic logging tasks such as cross-hauling logs onto a sled, skidding, and loading logs with the A-frame jammer. Meet the horses and hear from the teamsters that drive them. Historic logging demonstrations, trolley rides, and fun logging camp activities throughout the day.
