Joyann Parker Band

With roots in the church and a solid foundation of musical education, Joyann Parker found her authentic voice later in life. Then, she created her own blend of roots music that combines soul, R&B, gospel, jazz, and traditional blues styles. For the past decade, Parker has been a steadily rising star on the Midwest music scene. Now, she brings her full range of talent as an accomplished singer, pianist, guitarist and songwriter to worldwide stages.

ganavya w/Special Guest Kavyesh Kaviraj

Vocalist ganavya’s latest recording, 2024’s Daughter of a Temple, came out of what she describes as “a gathering in and for devotion”. She drew on studies of the musico- philosophies of Alice Coltrane Turiyasangitananda. Furthermore, she’d even promised herself she’d invite anyone who brought up Turiyasangitananda’s name around her. “You really shouldn’t do that,” she chuckles. “It turns out a lot of people talk about her!””

Elvin Bishop Big Fun Trio

Elvin Bishop has been performing his rollicking brand of electrified front porch blues for over sixty years. (His first professional gig was as guitarist for Junior Wells’ band in 1962.) Moreover, he is as vital and creative an artist today as he was when he first hit the national scene. He did this in 1965 with The Paul Butterfield Blues Band. He is still as slyly good-humored and instantly crowd-pleasing as when he effortlessly created solo hits during the 1970s.

Further, they won six Grammy Awards. Thus, they have attained the highest levels of achievement in a career that spans over seventy years.

Andrew Walesch & His Orchestra

Like a good many before him, singer and pianist Andrew Walesch manages to encapsulate the sophistication of a cosmopolite and the self-effacing charm of a country boy. Leading his all-star ten-piece big band, showman Andrew Walesch is a traditionalist and an iconoclast rolled into one. “The Sinatra-loving entertainer is both fresh and classic at the same time – and always swingin,” raves Star Tribune critic Jon Bream.
