On the heels of their sold-out return to touring this year, country music icons Rascal Flatts will hit the road again for their LIFE IS A HIGHWAY TOUR in 2026, including a stop at Grand Casino Arena on January 23. The Live Nation-produced, 21-stop trek will bring “the harmonies and charisma that made them one of the biggest country groups” (American Songwriter) to fans nationwide. Film Screening: "Reconstruction Destructed"

Historic Fort Snelling will be hosting a screening of the film Reconstruction Deconstructed, a collaborative film production from OMG Studios and the Minnesota Humanities Center. The film aims to shine a light on the most misunderstood period in American History and why it remains critically important to understand today. The event will feature a live musical performance, the film screening, and a community discussion.

Draft Horse Experience

Work with the Forest History Center's staff and get an up close and hands on experience with the site's majestic draft horses. Participants will help groom, harness, and prepare horses, then go for a trolley ride on our trails. Our teamsters will be on hand to talk about draft horses and answer questions.
