Sensory Friendly Saturday

This monthly series provides a welcoming and accessible environment for individuals, families, and children who have sensory sensitivities. Experience our Minnesota Journeys gallery, temporary exhibits, the Touch & See Lab, and a brief planetarium show at 8:45 am—all with lowered lighting, quieter sounds, and fewer visitors.

Any member of the public who can benefit from this environment is welcome to attend this event.

US Steel Pan Continental Curling Championships

The fourth edition of this event will take place from 19–26 October 2025 in Minnesota, United States, and will bring together men’s and women’s teams from World Curling’s Americas and Pacific-Asia zones to compete for qualification for the 2026 World Men’s and World Women’s championships.

The Pan Continental Championships comprise of an A- and B-Division. The A-Division will take place at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center in Virginia, Minnesota, whilst the B-Division will be held at the Curl Mesabi complex in Eveleth, Minnesota.
