Minnesota Monthly’s GrillFest is the official kickoff to summer, where your taste buds are taken on an epic sampling experience. Taste your way through your favorite grilled foods, craft beer, specialty cocktails, and more on this fun-filled weekend at CHS Field – Home of the St. Paul Saints.
Cheers to the 30th Annual Food & Wine Experience, hosted by Minnesota Monthly! This sensational weekend celebration promises a delightful exploration of flavor, featuring expertly curated wine selections and gourmet dishes crafted by top chefs. Immerse yourself in the world of culinary artistry as you sip, savor, and learn from renowned wine makers and more. With the Omni Viking Lakes Hotel – Home of the Minnesota Vikings providing the perfect ambiance, this event is a must for food lovers and wine enthusiasts alike.

The Big Bottle of Joy is about celebration – hard-won, overflowing, exuberant celebration. Matt Andersen’s latest long-player lives up to the grand title. Andersen finds reason to sustain this celebration of the life we share together everywhere. Here, he’s on the road, missing a lover; then, between the sheets in a southern Ontario motel room. The album is infused with raw blues-rock, rollicking Americana, thoughtful folk, and ecstatic gospel.
The Fairmont Opera House offers another choral masterpiece, Requiem in D Minor by Mozart, featuring the same fantastic soloists as last year, along with a specially selected chorus of singers from our community led by Choral Director Jon Hermanson. Pianist Clare Longendyke makes her MSO debut in the Emperor Piano Concerto to round off a spectacular pair of masterpieces. Join us on March 16th at 3pm to expierience these masterpieces performed by top local talent!
Join us in celebration of the Dakota and MacPhail’s partnership in nurturing the next generation of great musicians! MacPhail’s elite Dakota Combo features some of the top high school talent in the state. Also, some of the extraordinary instructors that lead music education in the Twin Cities will perform.
