A Free Evening with "Nina! Madam to a Saintly City"

For two nights only, join us for a dramatic reading of Lance Belville's play Nina! Madam to a Saintly City on the lawn of the historic Alexander Ramsey House Museum. Under lantern lights, you'll find yourself immersed in the lore of St. Paul's legendary Madam.

The edited reading will feature many voices including original actor, Lynn Lohr, as Nina Clifford.

Franconia Art & Farmers Market

The first Sunday of each month, May-October from 10 am - 2 pm, local farmers and artists come together to provide a variety of fresh produce and handmade crafts to our 180,000 annual visitors. Each event is a fun way for people to connect directly with the local farmers and artists in the St. Croix River Valley.

Four Sisters Farmers Market

The Four Sisters Farmers Market is an Indigenous-focused farmers market that provides increased access to affordable, healthy, culturally appropriate local foods within the American Indian Cultural Corridor. We strive to celebrate Indigenous pride, health, and well-being. The market takes place in the NACDI / Pow Wow Grounds Coffee House parking lot on Thursdays from 11 AM to 3 PM. Street parking is available nearby.

Food Truck Extravaganza 2025

This must-attend event brings together a diverse lineup of food trucks, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and a vibrant atmosphere celebrating our community’s love of food and fun.

The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the return of the popular 2025 Food Truck Extravaganza, taking place on Saturday, June 14 at the Washington County Fairgrounds. This must-attend event brings together a diverse lineup of food trucks, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and a vibrant atmosphere celebrating our community’s love of food and fun.

Flint Knapping Demonstration

Learn how early hunters created arrowheads for their spears or arrows by observing a flintknapper demonstrate the craft. Xoloti Bembe Ek (Alex Ek) will offer an in-depth look at the process of creating stone projectile points and will also discuss their use. This program is included with regular site admission.

The Fisherman's Picnic

This is way more than just shore lunch! It’s the annual Fisherman’s Picnic in Grand Marais. This community festival is more than 90 years old, and is Cook County's annual community get-together. Sponsored and organized by the local Lion's Club, this is their annual fundraiser.
