The Hmong New Year is the only Hmong cultural holiday known to the Hmong and is a highly anticipated event by many Hmong households each year as we come together with family and friends to celebrate the end of the Hmong calendar year. At this event, patrons will get to join in on all the festivities of Hmong song, dance, and reuniting with friends and family we have not seen for a while.

Bend of the River Figure Skating Competition

The Mankato Figure Skating Club is proud to host its 22nd annual Bend of the River Figure Skating Competition, sanctioned by the U.S. Figure Skating.Practice ice will be available on Friday evening and Saturday morning. 33rd Annual Women's Art Festival

The 33rd Annual Women’s Art Festival will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 4 PM at a new location! This year's festival will be held at the Seward Montessori School, 2309 28th Ave S, in Minneapolis and includes over 70 local women artists selling their artwork including jewelry, fiber, photography, painting, pottery and more. Admission is free and all are welcome. A $1 donation at the door is suggested to support the school PTA programs. There is plenty of free parking in the parking lot of the school and nearby streets.

140th Winter Carnival Fire and Ice Winter Run
