MN Original Music Festival Main Stage Concert Series

The Minnesota Original Music Festival Main Stage Concert Series is a free music event showcasing the talents of Minnesota musicians that perform original music. The festival takes place in beautiful Saint Peter, Minnesota over two days, Saturday, July 19 through Sunday, July 20. A variety of artists will perform music in a variety of musical genres that include, Americana, Jazz, Electronic, Pop, Punk, Funk, Hip Hop, Tex-Mex, Rock, Reggae & Ska.

Photography & Art at the Rock, a monthly exhibit in the lobby of the Split Rock Lighthouse Visitor Center that showcases local artists, landscape and wildlife photographers of the area.

For the month of June our featured artist is Jeff Benson.

Artist Statement:
"I retired from Transportation Consulting in 2015. At that time, my wife and I relocated from the Twin Cities to Duluth since our two sons attended the University of Minnesota Duluth and settled in the area. We wanted to be closer to our kids and our now six grandchildren.

Elvis Costello & The Imposters With Charlie Sexton

The Radio Soul!: The Early Songs of Elvis Costello tour features songs drawn from the records My Aim Is True released in 1977 to Blood & Chocolate from 1986, along with other exciting surprises. This prolific time period includes some of Costello’s most renowned compositions, including Watching The Detectives and I Want You. Costello performs with his longtime companions The Imposters—drummer Pete Thomas, pianist Steve Nieve, and bassist Davey Faragher—with their special guest, Texas guitarist Charlie Sexton.

Author Event: Voices From Pejuhutazizi

Join authors Teresa Peterson and Walter LaBatte Jr. as they discuss their book, Voices From Pejuhutazizi: Dakota Stories and Storytellers at Jeffers Petroglyphs.

This book is a rich trove of stories told by five generations of a Dakota Family. The free event will include a reading, Q&A session, and book signing. Books will be available for purchase. More information about the book can be found here.

Choreographer Aszure Barton and award-winning composer Ambrose Akinmusire, two visionaries in their fields, created multidisciplinary, multidimensional A a | a B : B E N D, a Northrop Centennial Commission. For this evening-length work, the dancers, Akinmusire, and members of the audience share space for the performance—with a choice of seating onstage (Price 1) or on the orchestra level (Prices 2 & 3) of the theater.

World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade

Every year on March 17, the World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade briefly takes place in downtown Hopkins.

2026 Parade Route

The parade, which is open to anyone, is set for March 17, 2026. The parade begins at 4 p.m. (line up begins at 3:45 p.m.) and travels the four blocks between the:

St. Cloud Wine Knot 2025
