Reif Cozy Concerts: Featuring Jed LaPlant

Jed LaPlant, known by most as the frontman of Minnesotan western folk rock group Wild Horses, is a singer/songwriter from Grand Rapids, MN. Being born and raised among the long winters has influenced much of Jed’s storytelling, offering an intimate knowledge of both the beauty and the brutality of life in the Northwoods. Jed carries in his music a distinct appeal to dynamics and adheres to the importance of honesty in songwriting.

Opener: Dean Batten is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and motorcycle freak. He’s from Florida.

Reif Cozy Concerts: Featuring Amanda Grace

Amanda is a Minnesota native and has released music drifting between folk, alt- pop/rock and Americana. With roots as a pianist her writing is thematically varied with an emphasis on melody; with ballads wrapped in warm vocals. In 2016 she received a Front Of The Line Pass from The Voice and her seventh album, “Please Dear Sun,” was nominated for Blues & Roots Radio Album Of The Year. Amanda just released her eighth album called Give Me Away.

As the creator and host of Minnesota Bound, Ron has spent over 25 years sharing stories that capture the heart of our lakes, woods, and wildlife. His passion for the outdoors and his down-to-earth storytelling bring the beauty of Minnesota’s natural world to life.

This is your chance to hear Ron’s stories firsthand about fishing with celebrities, how Raven became the star of MN Bound, memorable fishing adventures, and stories about fishing with an MN man with no arms. There will also be musings about hunting with Bud Grant.

Maple Syrup Day 2025

As winter gives way to spring, the sap starts flowing in the maple trees. That’s maple syrup time at Osprey Wilds! Come join us for our annual Maple Syrup Day – a pancake brunch and hands-on maple syruping program.

Enjoy a lovely pancake brunch and learn about the history and process of making maple syrup. Actively participate in all the phases of syrup-making including identifying and tapping maple trees, collecting sap, observing the sap being boiled down into liquid gold maple syrup and tasting the result!

Whether you stroll, pedal, drive, or even float in by boat, come join us on the picturesque shores of Birch Lake for a magical evening of tunes, tasty picnics, and the best of local camaraderie.

Hailed by The Washington Post as “one of Nashville’s finest song interpreters,” Kathy Mattea has enjoyed much success and acclaim during her 35-year career in Country, Bluegrass and Folk music, including 2 Grammy wins, 4 CMA Awards, 4 #1 country singles, and five gold albums (plus a platinum Greatest Hits collection). Her latest album is “Pretty Bird,” produced by her old friend, roots music wizard Tim O’Brien. The wide-ranging collection of songs chronicles a period of rededication to singing, digging back in with a vocal coach and emerging with a poignant and eclectic CD.

Bryan Duncan in Concert

Bryan Duncan has 18 solo albums, featuring 16 number-one radio hits and more than 1.2 million records sold! His music, which spans Pop, Gospel, Soul, Blues, CCM, Smooth Jazz, and Christmas genres, has garnered numerous awards, including a Grammy. He released seven albums with Sweet Comfort Band and three with the NehoSoul Band. Duncan’s latest album is Shine.

Tickets are $40.00 in advance and $50.00 at the door. Seating is general admission and doors open at 6:30 PM. Concessions will be available for sale during the concert.
