5K Sap Run

Just as the maple sap runs after the long winter gives way to spring warmth, runners can also get out and run in the sun at the Little Canada 5K Sap Run around beautiful Lake Gervais on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Little Canada's logo includes a maple leaf, which was the inspiration for this spring race. Join us for a competitive race or fun run/walk and start the spring off on the right foot.

The Art & Craft Affair in downtown Battle Lake was launched in 1977 by the Art of the Lakes Association. This great one day show draws nearly 5,000 visitors annually. Always held the ?2nd Saturday of August at Railroad Park, located at MN Hwy 78 and County Rd 83 in Battle Lake.

Archival Footage Bingo

Join us for a fun-filled night that will merge two of our favorite things - archival footage and bingo. Rules for bingo remain the same, just replace the bingo ball cage with a reel of gems from our MNHS collections. Woodlands and High Plains Powwow

Every year, NDSCS partners with NDSU, MSUM, Concordia College, and MSCTC to sponsor the annual Woodland and High Plains Powwow in our area.

This celebration of Indigenous culture brings together dance, music, and traditions that have been cherished and passed down through generations. Attendees can also appreciate the beauty of traditional regalia, as well as the crafts showcased by Indigenous vendors.
