Food Truck Extravaganza 2025

This must-attend event brings together a diverse lineup of food trucks, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and a vibrant atmosphere celebrating our community’s love of food and fun.

The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the return of the popular 2025 Food Truck Extravaganza, taking place on Saturday, June 14 at the Washington County Fairgrounds. This must-attend event brings together a diverse lineup of food trucks, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and a vibrant atmosphere celebrating our community’s love of food and fun.

Flint Knapping Demonstration

Learn how early hunters created arrowheads for their spears or arrows by observing a flintknapper demonstrate the craft. Xoloti Bembe Ek (Alex Ek) will offer an in-depth look at the process of creating stone projectile points and will also discuss their use. This program is included with regular site admission.

The Fisherman's Picnic

This is way more than just shore lunch! It’s the annual Fisherman’s Picnic in Grand Marais. This community festival is more than 90 years old, and is Cook County's annual community get-together. Sponsored and organized by the local Lion's Club, this is their annual fundraiser.

Fireworks Display - Detroit Lakes

Spectacular fireworks display at dusk at the mile-long, city beach on Detroit Lake! Expanded show with fireworks being shot from three barges on Detroit Lake. Enjoy the day at the beach, in the City Park or one of our local restaurants right in the heart of Detroit Lakes!

Fireworks Cruise on the Vista Fleet

Get the best view during the iconic Duluth Fireworks display-from the water!Join us for Duluth’s favorite way to experience the 4th of July fireworks — aboard the Vista Fleet! Choose between a family friendly cruise on the Vista Star or a 21+ cocktail evening on the Vista Queen. Both tours will get you front row seat to the 4th of July fireworks!

Fillmore County Fair

Held annually in July at the Fillmore County Fairgrounds in Preston. 4-H & Open Class exhibits, carnival, rodeo, and demolition derby, bands, & other grandstand events.

Fête de la Saint-Jean-Baptiste

French-Canadian and French fur traders, the dependable and hard-working men of the Fur Trade who moved furs and goods across North America, set little time aside for themselves. Although, there were two exceptions. A rendezvous was a time of great celebration, but even the most boisterous rendezvous would not come close to the pomp and celebration of Fête de la Saint-Jean-Baptiste, which translates to Saint Jean the Baptist Day in English.

Festival of Trees

Join us on Thanksgiving Evening to kick of the Holiday Season. Bid on your favorite tree or wreath, shop our Christmas Boutique or a take a chance on a beautiful queen size quilt. All proceeds benefit Northwoods Partners to provide resources that promote independence and healthy aging.

Festival of Sail

Join us on the shores of the world’s Greatest Lake for Festival of Sail Duluth 2025. It’s a rare chance to catch a glimpse, step aboard, and even set sail on some of the grandest ships of yore. Draw Events is once again bringing tall ships to Duluth. Festival of Sail Duluth 2025 will feature ship tours, day sails, educational programming, food and beverage, entertainment and fun for the entire family!
