Bullhead Days

This year is the 60th Anniversary of Bullhead days in Downtown Waterville. Starting Friday June 6th with the Carnival, Live Bands and Food Trucks and more, all weekend long.

Fridays events are, The Miss Waterville Pageant, The Classic Car Cruise In and Fireworks.

Saturday, start the day with a Kids Fishing Contest, throughout the day you'll find a Juried Vendor Fair, RC Derby, Tractor Pull, Kids Pedal Tractor Pull and Kids Fishing Contest.

Sunday will be the Grand Parade followed by Kids Bingo, the kids have a blast and the prizes are amazing!

The Angel Next Door - Preview

Journey to an opulent Newport mansion in 1948, where playwrights, actors, and a star-struck novelist gather to work on their next Broadway hit! (Nevermind the housekeeper who wants them gone.) You get to be a fly on the (thin) walls of this romantic romp that captures the sheer joy, sophistication, and wit of classic screwball comedies. Stories at the Station - Nina Hamza

Join us for an exciting evening with emerging author Nina Hamza as she presents her latest book Samira’s (Worst) Best Summer on Wednesday, April 3rd. Sponsored by Story Line Books.This event will be held on the Mezzanine above 1881 Restaurant inside Union Depot with complimentary appetizers and a cash bar.During this event, Nina will read selected passages from her new book, share insights into her creative process, and engage in a Q&A session with the audience.

Rochester Spring Classic

The 5K & 15K courses will include an out and back on scenic paved bike trails along the Zumbro River in and around downtown Rochester.

NightFalls

Ramsey Park is dressed in over 420,000 lights across 256 acres that includes 2 waterfalls, 8 bridges, and 4 miles of illuminated paved walking trails. Attendees can drive through the park (one-way from entrance on Grove St) or walk in with parking options available nearby and in the park. In addition to the static light displays, Event Sound and Lighting’s music and light performance near the historic swayback bridge is a must see! Several themed walking trails are great fun to explore with your kids to spot the dinosaurs, fairies, and animals. Free event, donations appreciated.

Minnesota State Band Spring Concert

Join the Minnesota State Band for their annual spring concert, "Past and Present." The program will include selections from the band's repertoire from 100 years ago, the premiere of a brand new composition, and music from their "Mostly Marches and Overtures" winter tour to Moose Lake, Grand Rapids, and Cloquet. Don't miss another varied and entertaining program from the talented musicians of the Minnesota State Band, conducted by Keith Liuzzi and Evan Varns.

Gutenberg! The Musical!

April 17-19 & 24-26 @730pm and 20 & 27 @2pm With the power of friendship and a lot of historical fiction, writing partners Bud and Doug have created a musical about unsung hero and inventor of the printing press, Johannes Gutenberg. They're here to present their show to potential producers and take it to the capital of the United States: Broadway! They built the set, hired as many musicians as they could afford, and are playing all the parts. What could go wrong?
