The Loop Bar + Restaurant West End

The Loop West End offers a large variety of menu options, from salads and sandwiches to pizza and entrees such as the Salmon Rice Bowl, the Flank Steak Salad and the Mac-n-Cheese Pizza. We have something for everyone whether you’re a Minnesota native or just visiting the area!

Wolves and Women's Weekend: Boundary Waters Adventure

Enjoy the company of women whose lives are as hectic as yours while learning about wolves and the Northwoods. Slow it down for the weekend; relax with some wine and cheese as we gather at the Northern Tier High-Adventure Canoe Base for canoeing, radio telemetry and trekking through the beautiful Superior National Forest. Then, return to the International Wolf Center to attend our What’s for Dinner? program to observe our ambassador wolves feeding before you spend the night in the auditorium.

Wolf Photography Weekend

    Discover the art of photographing wolves at the International Wolf Center! Participants will learn important information about wolves and what to look for in capturing their unique behaviors. In addition to observing the Exhibit Pack, participants will spend some time exploring the surrounding Superior National Forest.
    Lodging is not included in this program but is available at hotels in the Ely area.

Wolf Family Rendezvous

Bring the whole family together for a fun-filled, wolf-themed weekend! Enjoy private lessons on wolf ecology and guided hikes through the beautiful Superior National Forest. Participate in wolf-themed activities and observe our ambassador wolves in action. Then, attend our What's for Dinner? Program to observe our wolves feeding before you spend the night in the auditorium.

Activities and learning will take place both indoors and outdoors. Please be prepared with appropriate clothing for both.

Wildlife Career Day

Join our Wildlife Career Day and meet local biologists and others who work with wildlife. You’ll get a special behind-the-scenes tour to learn more about our wolves and even create an enrichment activity for our wolves to try! Wrap up your day by watching our wolves be fed their weekly meal at our “What’s for Dinner?” program.

Program includes moderate indoor and outdoor activities in variable weather. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult
