North House Folk School's annual Summer Solstice and Wooden Boat Festival celebrates the best of summer on Lake Superior. Join us in Grand Marais June 19 - 21, 2026 for a joy-filled weekend that weaves together craft, community, and the beauty of long days by the big lake. Discover, dance, paddle, create, and welcome the brightest season at this festival!

Winter Walk

In the heart of the holiday season, an event takes place that draws crowds from near and far. Steaming cups of hot cocoa, the sounds of hooves clippity-clapping along the streets, and candles flickering in the breeze, creates a magically and can’t miss one-night festival.

Winter Jazz Festival

The weather will be cool, but the jazz will be HOT at the Winter Jazz Fest on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Crooners Supper Club. The 2025 Winter Jazz Fest line-up features some of the top names in local music, including the Peter Kogan Quintet, Jennifer Grimm, and Red Planet with Kavyesh Kavirajl. Guests may purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win some fabulous prizes. Plus, we will be announcing the 2025 Twin Cities Jazz Festival Jazz88 Main Stage lineup.
