The Wilds Resort & Campground

We are centrally located between Park Rapids and Detroit Lakes. You may leave from your cabins to four wheel, snowmobile or hike in Smoky Hills State Forest. All of our six cabins are level to the lake, are beautifully decorated and some have screened in porches, fireplaces, decks, TV, & DvD Players. All cabins have air conditioning and flat screen televisions with Blue Ray DVD Players. We offer a sandy swimming beach, kayak, canoe, paddle boards, and a large lily pad floating mat. We have boats, motors, pontoon rentals.

Wildlife Science Center

The Wildlife Science Center is a non-profit, science-based education facility that is home to the largest captive population of privately maintained wolves in the United States. Over 25,000 people annually attend educational programs specializing in wolves and other Minnesota predators. Along with over 35 critically endangered red, Mexican gray, and other gray wolves, the Wildlife Science Center is also home to black bears, foxes, lynx, coyotes, skunks, raccoons, porcupine and birds of prey.

Wildhurst Lodge Campgrounds

We offer a chance to discover the North Country. Explore the area on an ATV, a snowmobile, snowshoes or on foot and return to the warmth of a cozy fire in our lodge. Wildhurst is a private lodge and campground tucked into 40 acres of wilderness located in the Sawtooth Mountains. Bears, moose and grouse are common sightings along the many trails and creeks that surround Wildhurst. With direct access to the ATV/snowmobile trails, the adventure is endless.

Wildhaven Antiques & Crafts

Antiques, collectibles, and cedar crafts. Located in Bock, small town environment! New items put in weekly. Over 1,000 items! Items are indoor and outdoor--We have Bridgeman's ice cream, seasonal, fresh baked waffle cones to serve while you shop. View us on Facebook for pictures of items! Located just off Hwy 23--a stop on your adventures to northern Minnesota!

Wildflower Golf Course

The 18-hole "Wildflower" course at the Fair Hills Resort facility near Detroit Lakes, Minnesota features 7,000 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating ranges from 74.6 - 72.0 and it has a slope ranging from 133 to 124 on blue grass. Wildflower golf course first opened in 1993.

Wilderness Inquiry

Wilderness Inquiry is a Bloomington based non-profit organization that leads fully guided outdoor adventures including canoeing, kayaking, hiking, camping, dog sledding, and more, for people of all ages, skill levels, and abilities. Take part in Twin Cities area day trips on the Mississippi River and Chain of Lakes; overnight trips in the Boundary Waters, Voyageurs National Park, and other exciting areas in and around Minnesota. Guides, equipment, and food provided. Transportation can be added.
