Smack Shack

Casual, coastal restaurant in the North Loop. The Gulf Coast offers a rich and diverse region for seafood and culture, much of which influences the menu at Smack Shack. The freshwater from the Mississippi pours into the Gulf of Mexico from which crabs, finfish, oysters and shrimp are harvested. In addition to the seafood offerings, the Gulf Coast and New Orleans low country cuisine influences both the food and the drink menus at Smack Shack from Po’Boys and gumbo to our fresh ingredient made daiquiris.

The home of Grumpy old men. We are a full service bar and restaurant, located on the main channel of the Mississippi river in Wabasha Minnesota. On the west end of main street
with a 200 ft. dock, outside seating on our deck or patio bar. Banquet room for up to 200 people. great burgers sandwiches pastas seafood and steaks.

Slim's Resort is a full service fishing resort open year around. We have modern housekeeping cabins most with breathtaking views of the Rainy River.

Sleepy Hollow Resort

Sleepy Hollow is a family resort with eight modern cabins ranging from one to three bedrooms and 10 full-hookup R.V. sites. Sleepy Hollow Resort is located just outside of the Chippewa National Forest on beautiful Island Lake in Northome, Minnesota.

Sleepy Eye Golf Club/Prairie Greens Bar & Grill

The Sleepy Eye Golf Course facility is a par 36, nine hole course. It features 2,971 yards of golf with water hazards and sand bunkers. The course rating is 36.8 and it has a slope rating of 121. There is a driving range, putting green, and chipping area. Rentals include clubs, carts, and pull carts.

Food and a bar are located in the clubhouse. Tee times are encouraged during the week, and necessary on the weekends.

Pair your drink with a gooey, mouthwatering cinnamon roll (get here early because they sell out) or another of the pastries we make from scratch daily. At lunch, enjoy our soup and sandwich combos, served on freshly baked ciabatta rolls and brioche buns.

The newest arrival to the Sleepy Eye Minnesota community is the Sleepy Eye Brewing Company. Sleepy Eye is excited for the opportunity to experience not only wonderful tasting craft beer but also an ideal setting in the newly renovated PIX Theater.

Sleepy Eye Area Historical Society/Depot Museum

Built in 1902, the Depot houses a display of CNW artifacts; is custodian to the grave-site of Chief Sleepy Eye, a Sisseton-Dakota and signer of several treaties ceding southern Minnesota, Iowa, and eastern North and South Dakota to the US Government. The depot is on the National Register of Historic Places and the State Registry of Historic Sites. Operated by the Sleepy Eye Area Historical Society.
