Shetek Environmental Learning Center

We provide year round nature programs for school groups, community organizations, 4-H and Scout groups, as well as Senior groups. Programs are hands-on and access the beautiful wooded grounds and lake shore.

Nature programs focus on increasing knowledge, awareness and respect for our environment and many natural gifts. Activities lead to learning more about wildlife, water management, plant life and outdoor skills. Programs are adapted to each groups specific needs, area of interest and age.

Sherwood Forest Campground

Sherwood Forest is a Campground/RV Park, offering 57 sites, including 32 Water/Electric/Sewer sites, 11 Water/Electric sites, 1 Electric only sites and 13 Tent sites.

We have firewood & ice for sale and very well equipped, on-site restrooms. The Mesabi Trail runs directly through the campground and we are less than a mile from Minnesota's ONLY OHV Park!

Sherwood North

Sherwood North is the most unique of all Brainerd Lakes Area restaurants. Built in the 1920's this updated redwood lodge with 70' tall river stone fireplace is the focal point of their casual and relaxed dining experience with full bar and menu. The outdoor deck has a beautiful wood fireplace and full dining. It is your secluded get-away for quality food with a casual mood.

The restaurant seats about 100 inside with a main dining area, a separate veranda and a lounge and bar off the main entrance. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Sherin Memorial Park

Sherin Park has spaces for RVs to park and has access to water for campers. There are nice, paved walking paths and covered pavilion. There are also places to fish right from the riverbank. A smaller playground is also in this park.

Sherburne History Center

SHC collects, preserves and exhibits objects relating to the human experience in Sherburne County. Research library that includes records of churches, townships, businesses, oral histories, naturalization and census records, maps, plat books and newspapers. Over 5000 photographs of people, places and events in Sherburne County.
