We have 20, 1-4 bedroom clean, modern, knotty pine cabins; all with air conditioning, fully equipped kitchens, including microwaves and cable TV. Free wireless internet. All our cabins have decks with picnic tables and Weber cookers. We have a new POOL & HUGE HOT TUB, 25' Rave trampoline, children's playground, equipment, ping pong, horseshoes, volleyball, tether-ball and basketball, as well as a bonfire pit on the lakeshore; perfect for hotdogs and s'mores.

Woodhaven Resort

Woodhaven is the only resort on Three Island Lake, in the Turtle River Chain of Lakes. 6 different cabins to choose from. We are a fishing resort and Three Island Lake offers excellent northern, largemouth bass, bluegills, crappies; and there are walleyes in the lake too. Boat is included with cabin rental. Motors are available for rent.

Woodenfrog Campground and Day-Use Area

Located in Kabetogama State Forest, managed by Bear Head Lake State Park. The 61 campsites are considered "primitive," designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and table. In addition, vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available. This campground and day-use area is beautiful and rustic with a great swimming beach, boat ramp, and an old CCC building used for interpretive talks on a regular basis.

You'll enjoy visiting this turn-of-the-century "Main Street" shopping center, designed with thoughtful architectural detail, lushly landscaped gardens and some of the best shopping the Twin Cities has to offer.

Woodbury Heritage House and Garden

The Heritage House was built in 1870 and is one of the oldest structures still in Woodbury. It was converted to a museum by the Woodbury Heritage Society and is open to the public.

The gardens are maintained by the Heritage Society and include over 100 different kinds of plants in a native garden, demonstration vegetable and herb gardens, and a butterfly garden, including many plants that were grown on farms by the early settlers of Woodbury.

Wood-Rill SNA

Wood-Rill preserves an outstanding example of Sugar Maple "Big Woods" forest. This forest type is ranked S2, or imperiled, in the state and is increasingly rare in the developing metro-area.

Wood Lake Nature Center

A haven for migrating birds and waterfowl: 150-acre cattail marsh, woodland and restored prairie. Three miles of wheelchair accessible trails. Cross-country skiing, rental skis, & snowshoe tours available. The interpretive center features interactive displays, live animals, meeting space and professional naturalist staff. Weekend family programs. Summer school classes for children 4-12. Surrounded by freeways and close to the international
airport, it is surprising that on its 3 miles of
hiking trails one can find over 200 species of birds.
