Wells Historical Society/Wells Depot Museum

The Wells Railroad Depot is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Depot was built in 1903 and with the assistance of the Minnesota Historical Society, Milwaukee Road Historical Assn, Wells EDA and local fundraising it was restored and opened to the public in 2010.
The Depot Museum is home to a collection of area history and historical items including railroad, military and genealogy .

Welles Memorial Park & Fairgrounds

Welles Memorial Park is located at the intersection of the Bois de Sioux River and Otter Tail River making the Red River. The Red River is a unique river which flows northward into Canada. This starting point is known as Headwaters Park which is located directly across the bridge from Wahpeton, North Dakota. The Red River is known for its famous catfishing.
