Washburn Lake Ski Touring and Hiking Trails

20km of groomed trackset. Mostly "more difficult" level trails. Winds around several scenic lakes including Washburn, Grasshopper and Bear Lakes. Adjoins Land O'Lakes State Forest, and Washburn Lake Solitude Area. Shelters with fireplaces along trails. Maps along trail. Horseback riding allowed. Ski Pass required.

Waseca Water Park

We are a family friendly water park that concentrates on fun in a safe atmosphere! We also have the tallest body slides in Southern Minnesota as well as a diving board, zero depth entry, basketball, tot slide, water walk, trio of fun, and a water mushroom. All of this is supervised by our friendly lifeguards! We have family changing rooms available & lockers are located outside the bathhouse for easy access. Modern Concession stand located within park serving a variety of hot and cold treats.

Waseca County History Center

The Waseca County History Center is the primary steward of this county's historical artifacts, archives, photographs, documents, family histories, birth, death, marriage, cemetery, baptism and other records--all indexed and accessible on the searchable website. The museum building is a former Methodist church and houses offices, processing, artifact storage, a gift shop and exhibits on the main floor and on the balcony.

Waseca Art Center

The Waseca Art Center features new exhibits monthly, along with an extensive permanent collection. We offer classes pertaining to music as well as art appreciation. The Waseca Art Center also has a lovely Gift Shop filled with unique items.

Warroad/Roseau Trails

This trail system is located within Beltrami Island State Forest and connects to 200 additional miles of ATV/OHM trails. The trails travel along pine-covered ridges to large areas of low flatland and peat bogs. The trails are provided by Roseau County and maintained by Roseau/Lake of the Woods Sportman's Club.

Warroad Heritage Center and Museum

Exhibits and artifacts: Ojibwa artifacts from the Warroad area, the local commercial fishing industry, the Northwest Angle, early pioneers, military, the fur trade, and sports. Plus, works by area writers, genealogies and old photographs, with information on early lumber industry, mink ranching, boating, transportation, and special holiday exhibits.

Warroad Estates Golf Course

Located on the beautiful Lake of the Woods,which is considered one of the top fishing areas of Minnesota and a great 18 hole championship golf course. The layout features 4 sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all abilities. The wooded and water features provide a nice balance to test the more serious player while still giving the beginner a fair chance. This "Jewel of the North" has a laid back family atmosphere making anyone feel welcome. Accommodations include proshop, bar and restaurant.

Warroad Drive Up Nature Viewing Area

The Warroad drive up nature viewing area marks the beginning of the Pine-to-Prairie Birding Trail. The site overlooks the shores of Lake of the Woods and offers birders an opportunity to view migrating passerine, the Common Loon, Red-necked Grebe, American White Pelican, Greater Scaup, Common Goldeneye, Harlequin Duck, Piping Plover, along with Bonaparte's, Franklin's and Herring Gulls.
