Carver County Historical Society
About
Established in 1940, the Carver County Historical Society is a private, not-for-profit organization whose mission is to collect, preserve and interpret the history of Carver County. The museum houses five local history galleries, a veterans’ exhibit and a local history and genealogy library.
The Carver County Historical Society shares local history with visitors and residents through museum exhibits, traveling exhibits in the county's libraries, the local research library, adult, family, and children's programs, a quarterly newsletter, and a website.
There is no charge to visit the museum or library.
