About

The Great River Shakespeare Festival (GRSF) is a nonprofit, professional theater company in Winona, MN and has become an integral part of the Winona community. Dedicated to dynamic productions of Shakespeare's plays, education, community outreach programs, and theater training.

All performances take place at the Performing Arts Center on the campus of Winona State University. There are regular opportunities for education and interaction beyond what happens inside the theater, including FREE Concerts on the Green every Friday and Saturday during the festival season, educational Front Porch Events and Symposiums that continue the conversations that begin in the theater, chances to connect with the GRSF actors, directors, designers and crew, and pre-show conversations to better understand the plays. GRSF also features programming for young theater fans, providing Chill with Will opportunities to allow kids into the theater for free! Visit website and calendar for more details on GRSF events.
