Travel back in time and see magnificent views of Lake Superior, the downtown skyline, Duluth's waterfront and the majestic Northwoods from your window seat. Classic engines pull vintage cars on a variety of trips. Each trip originates from the historic Duluth Union Depot and discounted combination tickets are available to "See the Trains...Ride the Trains" at the Lake Superior Railroad Museum.
Enjoy a 1 1/2 hour "Duluth Zephyr" trips to Lester River, a 2 1/2 hour Pizza Train or a Two Harbors Excursion.
First Class and Dinner Train tickets are available along with many other special railroad experiences.
Steam engine #28 is running for the first time in over 50 years and has a schedule of trips to Two Harbors. Go to duluthtrains.com for schedules and tickets.

Fun to take the trip up the north shore. But, much of the journey, you only have trees to look at - not much that can be done about that but it's a little disappointing. Good staff.
