Veit Automotive Foundation
About
Veit Automotive Foundation Museum was started in the 90's to preserve Automobiles and Auto Memorabilia for future generations. The Veit Automotive Foundation is more than about the Hot Rods we display. We are about the history, the people, the car clubs and the genre it represents. Our mission is to preserve automobiles and automotive memorabilia for future generations to enjoy and embrace.
The Foundation started with modest beginnings as the Veit Family car collection. Early on, they shared the families personal car collection with friends, family and car clubs alike. It wasn't until they established the non-profit 501C-3 foundation and opened the museum to the public for the first time in July of 2000 that the foundation became official.
Today, the Veit Automotive Foundation is located on a 500 acre campus an hour outside of Minneapolis just South of Monticello, MN off of I94. The foundations multiple vintage looking barns house the 80 plus restored vehicles and over 200 rare and unusual gas pumps. The vehicles reside in the vintage looking barns specifically built to house the vehicles on display. The foundations museum allows us to share the historical artifacts within the collection.
