River Bend Nature Center

River Bend Nature Center was established in 1978 in Faribault, Minnesota and is a non-profit nature center located on 743 acres which includes maple basswood forests, restored prairies, wetlands and the Straight River.

The mission of River Bend Nature Center is to help people discover, enjoy, understand, and preserve the incredible natural world that surrounds us. Through contact with River Bend Nature Center, we envision that people will develop understanding of natural systems and our connections within them and be inspired to conserve and be stewards of the natural world.

Ritter Farm Park

12.0 km trackset. 6.0 km skate-ski. Mostly intermediate level trails. Trail runs through open fields and woods, groves and orchards, terrain varying from flat to very hilly. Trail maps available at Lakeville City Hall. Ski pass required. Ski passes sold at Dakota County License Center in Heritage Library.

Rising Eagle Resort

Located in the Chippewa National Forest, we are a family fishing & hunting resort on the north end of Big Jessie Lake. Big Jessie is managed by the DNR for walleye and is one of the top walleye lakes in Minnesota! It also has pike, crappie, bluegill, largemouth bass, sunfish, rock bass, and perch. Come and stay in one of our 6 Lake front cabins complete with full kitchens ( microwaves, coffee pots, cooking pots and pans ( Crock pots and elec. skillets available upon request), full size bathrooms with showers, gas fireplaces, a/c and t/v.

River View Lodge

Experience the magic of River View Lodge, nestled by the tranquil Ripple River in Aitkin, just a stone's throw away from the quaint historic downtown. Our retreat is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, perfectly situated along the riverbank with easy access to state trails, offering endless activities for nature lovers. Rooms were recently remodeled for a modern cabin ambiance. We also offer RV sites with full hook-ups along the river bank.

Ridgewood Golf Course is a public golf course in Longville, MN in northcentral Minnesota Leech Lake/Woman lake area. 18-hole regulation, 9- hole executive with driving range and putting practice green. Full restaurant/bar. Pro Shop. Leagues, tournaments, special events, banquet facility.
