Red Eye Theater

Celebrating the messy process of discovery since 1983, Red Eye is the Twin Cities oldest experimental theater, an alternative multidisciplinary art center dedicated to the creation and presentation of new work for the stage.

Red Dot Trail

The 30-mile Red Dot Trail runs through the Palisade Valley Recreation Unit of Tettegouche State Park before connecting to the Moose Walk and Moose Run trails. Read's Landing

The Read's Landing floodplain forest is one of the best places to watch bald eagles in the midwest. The flow of the nearby Chippewa River emptying into the Mississippi River helps keep the waters open in winter. Here eagles congregate over the open water to feed on fish and waterfowl. While here, also keep an eye out for wintering rough-legged and red-tailed hawks, common mergansers, and common goldeneyes.
