Mount Kato Ski Area

19 runs, 240' vertical drop, longest run 2800', 8 chair lifts, and 2 conveyor surface lifts. Wide variety of lessons. 3 Terrain Parks with many different features. Snow Tubing (height 42" & over), 3 handle tows and specially designed snow tubes. Mountain Biking trails in summer.

Mount Frontenac Golf Course

Mount Frontenac Golf Course is a full service 18 hole golf course located 7 miles north of Lake City, Minnesota on Highway 61. Our facility has breathtaking vistas of the beautiful Mississippi River Valley that one will not forget as well as numerous wild life sightings throughout your round. The course plays at 71 par and 6,003 yard from the white tees and 6,226 yards from the blue tees. A few tight fairways and relatively small greens make for an exciting and challenging round of golf for golfers of all abilities, both for tournament and individual play.

Mounds View Community Theatre

Our special strength is presenting grand scale, high-quality musicals. All efforts go into one stupendous show run each summer.
Minnesota’s Mounds View School District has generously allowed us to use stages in their schools each summer. We encompass the District’s suburbs which include: Arden Hills, Mounds View, New Brighton, North Oaks, Roseville, Shoreview and Vadnais Heights. In addition, we draw staff, volunteers, and patrons from the entire Minneapolis - St. Paul metropolitan area.

Mound Spring Prairie SNA

Located on the border with South Dakota, Mound Spring Prairie preserves one of the largest remaining prairie complexes on the Prairie Coteau of southwestern Minnesota. A diverse dry prairie is found on the hills of this site. Typical grasses include sideoats grama, little bluestem, Indian grass, blue grama and porcupine grass. Wildflowers to look for include purple coneflower, scarlet gaura, locoweed, rough blazing-star, prairie phlox, and heart-leaved alexanders. Western white prairie clover, a species of special concern, can be observed here at the easternmost edge of its range.

Mound Creek County Park

Offers a nine-hole disk (Frisbee) golf course in a natural prairie setting. The summer sunsets are spectacular and the prairie breezes can be a challenge to any disk golf player. The park also offers picnic shelters, a swimming beach, boat launch, fishing, sand volleyball court and three miles of hiking trails. The park covers 318 acres and is also the site of historic petroglyphs and features a waterfall in the picnic area.

The menu features Tokyo straight style ramen noodles, rice bowls, rotating specials and asian inspired street food paired perfectly with our house brewed sake. moto-i has three full levels available for rental.
