National Eagle Center

The National Eagle Center is a world-class museum located in Wabasha, MN. It is the world’s premier resource for impactful eagle education and experiences and offers wild eagle viewing, up-close eagle experiences, daily programs, field trips, and the Preston Cook American Eagle Collection. Live eagles are on public display each day featuring live eagle ambassadors and naturalist educators to answer all of your eagle-related questions. Nate & Ally's Frozen Treat Creations

Hungry for a soft serve frozen treat or hard ice cream? Then Nate & Ally's is the place for you! You can have your treat in a cup, waffle cone, or waffle cup and then add your choice of toppings. Or, pick your frozen treat and toppings, put them in a tall cup, and get them mixed together with our Mix-It. There are a variety of other frozen treats such as ice cream sandwiches and sliced pie from the world famous Stockholm Pie Company in Stockholm, WI. You can take your treats with you or enjoy them in our relaxing atmosphere.

NaKato Bar & Grill

At the NaKato Bar and Grill we offer a wide variety of tap beers ranging from unique craft beers to the classic domestics. Our 12 taps lines continue to rotate different styles of ice cold brews to ensure that our clientele will be able to experience all types of beer.

The hamburger we serve is a Grade A certified Black Angus Beef. It does not come from concentrated animal feeding operations, we make every effort to support smaller farmers (located right here in Southern MN) that take a personal interest in raising and caring for their cattle.

Myre-Big Island State Park

Visit during spring and fall to view the many species of migrating birds that use the wetlands, prairies and woodlands. The Esker Trail is spectacular any time of the year, and the Big Island Trail is another visitor favorite. 16 miles of hiking and 7 miles of snowmobile trails. A 6 mile paved trail connects to Blazing Star State Trail.
