Kaplan's Woods Park

Whether you're interested in biking, hiking, trail running or just taking a scenic walk Kaplan's Woods and Parkway located in Owatonna, Minnesota is the place. Kaplan's Woods offers free admission and parking, well marked trail maps, and nearly 7 miles of trails. These trail range from easy to intermediate, and include hills, dirt terrain, and heavily wooded landscape. The trail begins at a beginner level and is adjacent to Lake Kholmire, so families will find it easy and fun- with the ability to do some swimming, fishing or playground running after the trails.

Kantorei Chamber Choir

Kantorei is a high-quality, a cappella choral ensemble of about 40 voices based in Minnesota. The ensemble pursues the highest standard of musical expression and artistry. Since its founding in 1988 by Artistic Director Axel Theimer, Kantorei has become widely known for its stunning interpretations of European choral music. Kantorei performs the great a cappella choral treasures and also specializes in seldom-heard 19th- and 20th-century European compositions.

Kandiyohi County Historical Society & Museum

The Kandiyohi County Historical Society was incorporated in 1940 under its current name, but had existed as the Old Settlers Association since 1897. KCHS was specifically incorporated to “discover, preserve and share the story of Kandiyohi County and its people.”
The museum complex consists of six buildings across from Foot Lake in Willmar, MN: our main museum, community room and research library, District #18 Schoolhouse, Engine #2523, Sperry House, Grandpa’s Shed and Agriculture Building.

Kanabec History Center

37 acre complex with hiking trails, picnic areas, main exhibit hall with exhibits, research library, gallery/meeting room and gift shop with antique nook. Also on site historic buildings. 1-1/2 hours north of the Twin Cities. As well as other exhibits which chronicle and provide interpretation to Kanabec County's past. Many exhibits to choose from. This facility was awarded another grant for excellence from the Institute of Museum & Library Services in 1998.
