Film Screening: "Reconstruction Destructed"

Historic Fort Snelling will be hosting a screening of the film Reconstruction Deconstructed, a collaborative film production from OMG Studios and the Minnesota Humanities Center. The film aims to shine a light on the most misunderstood period in American History and why it remains critically important to understand today. The event will feature a live musical performance, the film screening, and a community discussion.

Draft Horse Experience

Work with the Forest History Center's staff and get an up close and hands on experience with the site's majestic draft horses. Participants will help groom, harness, and prepare horses, then go for a trolley ride on our trails. Our teamsters will be on hand to talk about draft horses and answer questions.
