The Halverson Family planted their first 200 vines in 2006. Overlooking the banks of the beautiful Red Lake River, our cold hardy grape vines produce a unique flavor specific to our region. Today, the vineyard has over 2000 vines including the varieties Marquette, La Crescent, Frontenac, Frontenac Gris, Frontenac Blanc, and Brianna. We hope you'll enjoy our wines and appreciate the time and effort that goes into each bottle.
Displays of local history including fossils of prehistoric creatures, collection of beaded American Indian garments and weapons, birch bark canoe, scale model of Fort Pomme de Terre, strong pioneer collections including pioneer log cabin and one-room school on grounds; genealogical services available. Veterans Memorial Hall honors and supports all who have served, past and present, to preserve freedom and democracy. It displays military memorabilia from our veterans.
