Great Scott Wildlife Management Area

The Great Scott Wildlfie Management Area is a wetland home to deer, waterfowl, moose, bear, wolves, songbirds, eagles, loons, and fisher. There are more than three miles of grassy hiking trails. The winter offers a great opportunity to snowshoe.

Great River Water Park

The Great River Water Park is located within Oxford Community Center and is a year-round facility. Great River features a 25 yard lap pool with starting blocks and a diving board, two large water slides and a splash pad with interactive features for youth and families. Great River Bluffs State Park

High on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River, scenic overlooks are easily reached by walking trails and offer a chance to get away in the quiet bluff country. Oak-hickory woods, pine plantations and goat prairies provide excellent birding, scenery, hiking on over 6 miles of trails and 9 miles of mostly intermediate level cross-country ski trails. A quiet park ideal for bird watching, hiking, and camping.

Great River Arts

Great River Arts is a nonprofit arts organization serving the greater Morrison County area. We offer a variety of artistic experiences; from live theater and music performances to continuous visual art exhibits, as well as art classes for youth and adults.
