Rustic Mamas' Spring Market

The Rustic Mamma's Market has welcomed well over 2,000 shoppers through its doors during our Owatonna markets. What started as a personal passion of the Mammas and creative outlet for founders, Wendy & Julee has supported more than 200 small businesses.

Market attendees are sure to find the best collection of vintage and handmade vendors from across the country selling all things chippy, rusty, vintage and handmade. From live music to the best local food trucks, shoppers will be inspired while browsing over 100,000 square feet of vintage and handmade treasures.

Running of the Meatballs

Running of the Meatballs is a unique and hilarious downhill race of thousands of “meatballs” (brown painted golf balls). It is not only fun to watch but an important fundraiser for the museum’s ongoing historic building renovation projects. Tickets are $5 apiece or $20 for 5 and can be purchased in the gift shop or from a roaming ticket seller before the race that starts shortly before the Taco Daze parade. The meatballs are released and roll wildly down Oakhill Road into the chute. Prizes are awarded to the first 10 balls down the hill as well as the last one.

Beethoven, Ginastera and Tower

Enjoy a spirited and intimate program featuring three works
for chamber ensemble. Ludwig van Beethoven’s cheerful Septet, written to
delight audiences, was one of his most popular works during his lifetime. Two
additional works, Alberto Ginastera’s *Impresiones de la Puna*
for Flute and String Quartet and Joan Tower’s *Island Prelude* for
Woodwind Quintet lean into lyricism, the latter having been inspired by Samuel
Barber’s beloved Adagio for Strings.

Randolph Railroad Days (20th annual)

* Railroad Swap meet (collectibles, model trains, antique toys, books & magazines)
* The MUSEUM will be open with many new Railroad artifacts and its enhanced G Scale Train!
* LARGE Train layouts & displays!
