This genre-blurring chamber music program offers a rich,
rhythmic blend of the soulful, the contemplative and the inventive. From
Romantic, lyrical string trios to contemporary works of propulsive beats and
bold musical colors, this program flows like a conversation across time and
culture, beginning with Antonín Dvorák’s Terzetto for Two Violins and Viola
before springing forward to explore chamber music from the 21st century. It’s a
vibrant showcase of small groups of musicians, with works for strings and wind
ensembles.
