The KOWZ & KRUE Home and Recreation Show comes to the Four Seasons Centre in Owatonna every March! Remodeling, new construction, landscaping, home decor, kitchen gadgets, tools & equipment, crafts, and much, much more! There’s something for everyone at the Home Show and admission, as always, is totally, absolutely 100% FREE.
Home Show hours are Friday 3-7 pm, Saturday 9 am - 5 pm, and Sunday 11 am - 3 pm.
This celebration of holiday lights for the Greater Mankato area and region builds on past traditions and promotes the communities we serve, while raising non-perishable food donations for those in need. Admission is free for everyone. Non-perishable food and cash donations are accepted and appreciated.
Please note, we only collect cash and food donations within the lights display area in Sibley Park. No other organizations or individuals have been approved to collect donations on behalf of Kiwanis Holiday Lights.
Experienced show kite flyers from Minnesota and the Midwest will demonstrate their skills with kites of all colors, shapes and sizes.

Kandiyohi County Fair
August 6-9th, 2025
Willmar is home to the annual Kandiyohi County Fair. Held in August each year, the fair features agricultural, domestic and industrial exhibits from throughout the County.
The fair offers something for everyone–from baking and flowers to livestock and antique tractors. The kids will love the rides!

Start your 4th of July celebration with a walk/run around Miner's Lake on the Trezona Trail at 8:00 am. Tables will be set up to pay and register in front of the parking lot at the Ely Veterans Memorial.
The raising of the flag at the Ely Veterans Memorial, with the American Legion and the VFW Commanders, along with the Ely Honor Guard will have a short Patriotic Program at 10:00 am.
Ely Young Life Carnival will be in Whiteside Park with picnic food in the pavilion and activities for kids, adults, and families throughout Whiteside Park from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Eagan's July 4th Funfest has grown to one of the largest community events around! Funfest will take place on July 3rd & 4th at Eagan Community Center's festival grounds and July 5th at Viking Lakes!

World-class mushers including Jamie Nelson, John and Jason Baron have competed in the nearly 300 mile event – facing off against other seasoned competitors as well as the extremes of northern Minnesota weather and the deceivingly rugged terrain of the trail. The “Beargrease” is a qualifier for the famed Iditarod race in Alaska.
ALL ABOARD! The 52nd Annual James J. Hill Days Express is Rolling into Wayzata. Since 1975 the weekend following Labor Day in Wayzata has been dedicated to honoring James J. Hill, Minnesota historic figure and once owner of the Great Northern Railroad Company. The whistle’s blowing and James J. Hill Days is just around the bend, coming September 11, 12 & 13 to the shores of Lake Minnetonka in Wayzata. The proud residents, businesses and community groups of this small town will roll out the welcome mat for over 75,000 guests over three jam-packed days of exciting events.
