Columbia Heights Monarch Festival

The National Wildlife Federation’s Mayors’ Monarch Pledge encourages communities to create habitats for the monarch butterfly and other pollinators and educate residents about how to make a difference. As part of the Monarch Pledge, the City will hold a Monarch Festival on Aug 14 from 4-7 pm (Huset Park) with activities and entertainment celebrating pollinators.

The Winona Hogline Sandlot Baseball hosts the Winona Barnstorm: A Sandlot Baseball Extravaganza!! Barnstorm is not only about the baseball played, but also about community and finding ways to give back. Come out for a full day of baseball, fun and community spirit at Gabrych Park. Bring your friends, your glove and your love for the game. Whether a player or a fan, it’s a day to be sure to not miss!
