Beginnings – The Ultimate Chicago Tribute Band – is a tightly woven structure of musical talent that brings to life the original and glorious melodies of Chicago.

From Transit Authority’s “Beginnings” and “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is” to “25 Or 6 to 4” and “Saturday in the Park” – their giant hits remain. Additional tunes such as “You’re the Inspiration”, “Call On Me” and “Old Days” all bring to the forefront the beauty, the light and the shade of Chicago’s music.

April 2020 Exhibits + Events:

In April 2020, MacRostie Art Center will host two new exhibits.

In the MacRostie Gallery, McKnight Fellow Kathy McTavish will display their cross-sensory, polyphonic landscapes in the form of digital web creations that flow into physical space. In the Minnesota Gallery, artist Corey Olson of Itasca Life Options will present his collection of vibrant landscape and perspective pieces in his first solo exhibition.

AppleFest

Annual Apple Festival, held each year to celebrate the apple industry and the history of this community, will be held the third weekend in September. The fest grounds are at Abnet Field on the south side of the city. There will be entertainment, a golf tournament, arts and craft show, car show, flea market, and of course, apple pies! There are orchard tours available on Saturday afternoon and the grand finale is the King Apple Parade on Sunday afternoon.
