Please join Forepaugh’s and Ramsey County Historical Society for an afternoon of dining (inside or outside on the patio, dependent on weather) and a tour of the full building that includes storytelling and the history behind the home that once belonged to Joseph Forepaugh and later became a restaurant.
Forepaugh’s Executive Chef, Jeremy Wessing, will present some specially prepared food and share their inspiration behind each dish.
Tintype photo sessions will take place after the conversation for those interested. Please note that the cost of the event does not include the cost of a tintype portrait. RCHS presents History Revealed – Blkk Hand – Tintype Photography, feat a conversation with, Carla Alexandra Rodriguez. In her St. Paul studio, Carla will share the stories behind her work. Those interested in getting a portrait taken will be allowed to have one captured at the end of the end of the event for a fee.
Hop aboard for a personal, staff-guided golf cart tour through the many stories of Fort Snelling’s past. Your tour will explore the restored 19th century stone fort from the comfort of a golf cart, as well as some of the surrounding area.
